Hidden in Plain Sight Mobile Trailer Exhibit
Hidden in Plain Sight Mobile Trailer Exhibit

Step inside the ‘Hidden in Plain Sight’ mobile exhibit
An immersive, interactive experience designed to educate parents, caregivers, educators, and community members about the signs of substance use and risky behavior that are often "hidden in plain sight."
Housed in a custom-designed trailer, the exhibit replicates a typical teenager’s bedroom and challenges visitors to identify everyday items that may indicate involvement in drugs, alcohol, vaping, or other risky activities. But it doesn’t stop there—the exhibit also highlights protective factors, such as hobbies, academic achievements, and family engagement, that can serve as positive signs of youth well-being and resilience.
Guided by prevention specialists, participants gain insights into how seemingly ordinary objects—from clothing and décor to school supplies and personal items—can signal both concern and encouragement. This hands-on experience is both eye-opening and educational, empowering adults with the tools and knowledge to recognize risks, support strengths, and foster meaningful conversations with youth.
The exhibit is ideal for community events, schools, and health fairs, and is available for booking throughout the region. Keep an eye out for the trailer at events in your community—you never know where it might pop up next!
