Bandfest
An event created by and for teens
SAFE's Bandfest is designed for Chesterfield teens to create a fun, alcohol and drug-free event for their peers through music, art and videos that demonstrate a movement toward choosing healthy social activities. It features local teen bands, who audition to perform at the event, along with video and t-shirt design competitions.
Bandfest 2010, "Dare 2B U" was held on Saturday March 20, 2010 from 6-10 p.m. at Southside Nazarene Church, 6851 Courthouse Road. The event was sponsored by SAFE, presented by the Chesterfield County Department of Youth Planning and Development, and hosted by Southside Nazarene Church and the X-Zone.
